Testimonials Special 20 Classic

I prefer HOHNER harmonicas because they have a very special sound like the crossover and the special 20. They sound more serious.
Natascha Seara

Harmonica has been my lifestyle. I got my first HOHNER BLUESHARP for my fourteenth birthday and it has accompanied me from my first days of playing on the streets. My personal favorites are the MARINE BAND DELUXE and the SPECIAL 20.
Malcolm Arison aka Hank Williamson

"The Special 20 is truly my "workhorse" and I've been playing them since Hohner brought them out! The plastic comb and tight fitting covers, and crisp tone make the Special 20 my "go to" diatonic harp."
Mick Seretny

I play mainly on the model Hohner Special 20. It is an instrument that responds very well to a strong attack of the notes which allows to combine speed and fluidity while retaining a significant volume. Moreover, overblows are very easy to get on this model (even without additional adjustment). Finally, the plastic comb slightly overfill the covers and make it a particularly comfortable instrument, ideal for tongue blocking and play octaves.
Charles Pasi

With country tuned (Special 20s), I was able to play more melodies, whether that be jazz, standard tunes, country, or gospel..."
Phil Duncan

The Special 20 is my harmonica of choice. The compromise tuning is good for the single not playing that I do and they're very good for doing the traditional music of Ireland.
